The antidote to swipe burnout

Read their soul
before you meet.

Verified humans only — no AI profiles, no bots

AISURU matches you through five short essays — not swipes. Our AI reads between the lines so you discover people who actually fit, and then you read their full essays and view their photos before deciding to engage.

Free to start. No credit card required.

How it works

01

Write five essays

Tell us about your ideal Tuesday, a belief others disagree with, a relationship you admire. About 300 words each — roughly 20 minutes total.

02

AI reads between the lines

Our model extracts 16+ personality traits from your writing — lifestyle, emotional depth, values, communication style — without you filling out a single form.

03

Matches arrive daily

Each day a new batch of compatible people appears — and you read their full essays and view their photos before you decide to engage. You learn who they actually are first, in their own words. No swiping. No guessing.

Swipe burnout is real

You're not bad at dating. The apps are bad at matching.

The average person spends 90 minutes a day swiping and walks away with nothing — dating app fatigue isn't a personal failure, it's a design failure.AISURU

Match scoring

Most dating apps reduce compatibility to a yes-or-no on someone's photo. We don't think that's how human attraction actually works. After your essays are written, our AI extracts your personality across four distinct dimensions and scores compatibility against every eligible user in your city. Only matches scoring 65 or higher are surfaced — the rest are quietly filtered out so you only see people genuinely worth your attention.

Here's what our AI is actually looking at when it scores compatibility, and why each dimension is weighted the way it is.

Lifestyle

35% of your match score

How you actually live day-to-day matters more than almost anything else for long-term compatibility. We look at your daily rhythms, energy patterns, and pace of life — whether you're a quiet-morning introvert or a late-night extrovert, whether you crave structure or thrive in chaos, whether your weekends look like long walks and books or concerts and crowds. Two people whose lifestyles fundamentally clash rarely make it past the first few months, no matter how strong the initial spark. This is the dimension that quietly decides whether a relationship feels easy or exhausting six months in.

Emotional depth

30% of your match score

We read your essays for emotional vocabulary, attachment patterns, and willingness to sit with difficult feelings. Some people write about loss and growth with striking specificity; others stay safely in the abstract. Neither is wrong, but they pair badly with each other. Our model measures how openly you process emotion in writing — and matches you with people whose emotional bandwidth meets yours. This is what separates a relationship that feels seen from one that feels like polite small talk.

Complementary differences

20% of your match score

Compatibility isn't just sameness. The best long-term relationships balance shared core values with productive differences — one person's structure complementing another's spontaneity, one person's optimism softening another's realism. We deliberately weight a portion of your score toward useful asymmetry: traits where contrast creates growth rather than friction. This is the dimension most apps get backwards by optimizing for surface-level similarity.

Values

15% of your match score

Worldview, ethics, and the things you'd refuse to compromise on. We look at how you write about beliefs you hold against the grain, what you find worth defending, and where your moral lines are drawn. Values matter — but they matter less than people think when lifestyle and emotional depth are misaligned. We weight this dimension last because shared values can't rescue a relationship where the other three dimensions are off, but they're the foundation that lets the other three actually flourish.

Frequently asked questions

How is AISURU different from other dating apps?

Most dating apps match on photos and swiping. AISURU matches on personality. You write five short essays, our AI extracts 16+ personality traits, and you receive deeply compatible people every day. No swiping, no endless scrolling — just people who resonate with how you think. Every profile is a real, verified human. AI is used only to analyze writing and score compatibility — never to generate profiles or chat on anyone's behalf.

What kind of essays do I write?

Five prompts designed to reveal who you really are: your ideal ordinary day, a belief others disagree with, a relationship you admire, what you'd do if money didn't matter, and a time you changed your mind. Each takes about 5–10 minutes. Most people find it surprisingly enjoyable.

Is AISURU free?

Yes — creating an account, writing your essays, and receiving matches is completely free. You'll see match names and compatibility scores at no cost. AISURU+ unlocks full essay access for all your matches, messaging, and detailed compatibility breakdowns.

Can people see my essays?

Only your matches can see your essays, and only if they have AISURU+. If an AISURU+ member approves you as a match, you can both see each other's essays and message freely — even if you're on the free plan. Your writing is never shown to random users or used for anything other than matching. You can edit your essays freely before finalizing. Once finalized, essays lock permanently — so matches read exactly what you meant to say.

Does AISURU use my data to train AI?

No. Your essays are processed to create your personality profile and find matches — that's it. We never use your writing to train AI models, and we never sell your data to third parties.

v.Japanese 愛する

Japanese verb meaning "to love," "to care for," or "to have deep affection for." Implies a profound, often selfless, and enduring love — usually reserved for romantic partners. Not the spark of infatuation, but the kind of love you grow into.

This is what we're building toward.
