Creating an account on AISURU requires passing multiple verification steps before any matching or messaging is possible.
Every account is tied to one of three verified identities: an email address (confirmed via a one-time code), a Google account, or an Apple ID. There are no anonymous signups, and a single email or OAuth identity can only be used for one account.
Every user verifies a working phone number during onboarding via SMS code, powered by Twilio Verify. This is non-optional. Disposable and VoIP numbers known for abuse are filtered. Phone numbers are stored hashed for matching against block lists; they are never shown to other users.
A profile photo is required to finish onboarding. The account cannot enter matching or messaging without one. Photos are uploaded by the user — AI-generated photos and stock images are not permitted under our Community Guidelines and are removed when detected.
Every report submitted from inside the app — whether about a profile, a photo, or a message — is reviewed by a human moderator. Confirmed violations result in profile removal and account suspension. Repeat or severe violations result in a permanent ban tied to phone number and email.

Use the Report action on any profile or message inside the app. Reports route directly to our moderation queue and are reviewed by a human, typically within 24 hours. For urgent safety concerns or to report a profile you can't reach inside the app, email safety@aisuru.dating.
